Study on the Therapeutic Effect of Juhong Granules on Chronic Bacterial Pneumonia with Delayed Healing

Abstract：Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Juhong granules on chronic bacterial pneumonia that persists.Methods One-hundred patients with chronic bacterial pneumonia who were treated at Kuiyong People's Hospital in Dapeng New District,Shenzhen from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 50 patients in each group.The control group received treatment with enrofloxacin,while the observation group received additional treatment with juhong granules on this basis.The clinical pulmonary infection score(CPIS),StGeorge respiratory disease questionnaire score(SGRQ),traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,inflammatory response indicators,and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the CPIS and SGRQ scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The score of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group showed significantly lower levels of interleukin-8,interleukin-6,C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,procalcitonin,and white blood cell count compared to the control group(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of juhong granules in the clinical treatment of chronic bacterial pneumonia with delayed healing can promote symptom relief,reduce the body's inflammatory response,and have good safety.
