Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of bundled nursing on prognosis in mechanically ventilated patients in the intensive care unit(ICU).Methods Sixty patients who received mechanical ventilation in ICU of the Twelfth People's Hospital of Guangzhou from January 2023 to December 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine ICU care, while the observation group received bundled care based on the control group. The clinical recovery, psychological stress, incidence of complications, and nursing satisfaction between two groups of patients were compared. Results After nursing, the observation group had shorter mechanical ventilation time and ICU hospitalization time, and also had lower delirium incidence and tracheal intubation blockage incidence compared to the control group(P<0.05).the scores of all dimensions of the ICUES scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group patients with nursing work was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of bundled nursing in ICU mechanically ventilated patients can help reduce the duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay,as well as lower the incidence of delirium and tracheal intubation blockage, improve patient psychological stress, and increase patient satisfaction with nursing care.
