Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of standardized processes in disinfection and sterilization of equipment in the supply room. Methods A total of 5,000 instruments disinfected and sterilized in the supply room of Jining Third People's Hospital(Yanzhou District People's Hospital)from March 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the traditional process group, and 5,000 instruments disinfected and sterilized in the supply room from May 2022 to June 2023 as the standardized process group. At the same time,20 staffmembers who worked during two time periods were selected as the research subjects.Traditional process group implemented routine management, while standardized process group implemented standardized process management.Compare the work quality of staff and the management quality of disinfection and sterilization equipment in the supply room between two groups. Results The scores of various indicators of work quality and job satisfaction of staffin standardized process group are significantly higher than those of traditional process group(P<0.05).The standardized process group has a higher qualification rate of various indicators and timely distribution rate for the management quality of disinfection and sterilization equipment in the supply room than the traditional process group. The defect rate of surgical instruments is significantly lower than that of the traditional process group(P<0.05).Conclusion The standardized process has a good application effect in the disinfection and sterilization of equipment in the supply room, which can improve the quality of work and management, and is worth promoting and using.
