Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of implementing intensive health cognition intervention on elderly hypertensive patients undergoing physical examination. Methods A total of 96 elderly hypertensive patients who underwent physical examinations at Taian Rongjun Hospital of Shandong Province from January 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects. All the patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 48 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, while the observation group received intensive health cognition intervention on the basis of routine intervention.Compare the blood pressure status and self-management ability before and after intervention for 7 days,as well as the incidence of complications during the intervention between two groups. Results After 7 days of intervention, the blood pressure levels of both groups decreased compared to before intervention, and the levels of all indicators in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(all P<0.05).After 7 days of intervention, the self-management scores of both groups were higher than before the intervention, and the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For elderly hypertensive patients undergoing physical examinations, implementing intensive health cognition interventions based on routine interventions is more conducive to blood pressure control, improving their self-management abilities, and reducing the occurrence of related complications.
