Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of risk management nursing in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing cryoballoon ablation. Methods A total of 198 patients with atrial fibrillation who underwent cryoballoon ablation at West China Hospital of Sichuan University from October 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All the patients were randomly divided into a routine group and a risk group using random number table method, with 99 cases in each group. The routine group received routine nursing care, while the risk group received risk management nursing combined with routine nursing care.Compare the occurrence of risk events, nursing satisfaction,as well as self-management ability, negative emotions, and quality of life before and after intervention between two groups. Results After intervention, both groups showed improvement in scores of self-management ability, negative emotions, and quality of life compared to before intervention, moreover, after intervention the scores of above indicators in the risk group significantly better than those in the routine group(all P<0.05).The incidence of risk events in the risk group was significantly lower than that in the routine group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the risk group was significantly higher than that of the routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of risk management nursing in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing cryoballoon ablation can further improve their negative emotions, prevent the occurrence of risk events, enhance their self-management ability and quality of life, which is worthy of promotion and using.
