Application Effect of Psychological Nursing based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Combined with Clinical Nursing Pathway Nursing in Patients Undergoing Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of psychological nursing based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs combined with clinical nursing pathway nursing in patients undergoing ureteroscopic lithotripsy.Methods A total of 80 patients who were treated with ureteroscopic lithotripsy in the 73rd Group Military Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from October 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the study subjects.All patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the double-blind method,with 40 cases in each group.The observation group used psychological nursing based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs combined with clinical nursing pathway nursing,and the control group used clinical nursing pathway nursing.Compare the perioperative indicators,incidence of postoperative complications,and psychological status before and after nursing between two groups.Results The perioperative indicators of the observation group,including the time of first anal exhaust,recovery time to first meal,the time of ambulation,and the length of hospital stay,were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,the anxiety and depression scores in both groups decreased compared to before nursing,and the anxiety and depression scores in the observation group after nursing were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients undergoing ureteroscopic lithotripsy can benefit from a combination of psychological nursing based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs combined with clinical nursing pathways nursing,which can promote postoperative recovery,improve negative emotions,and reduce the incidence of complications.It is worth promoting and using.
