Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of emergency point-of-care hemoperfusion therapy on patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning. Methods A total of 60 patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning treated in the emergency department of Jining Third People's Hospital(Yanzhou District People's Hospital)from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 30 cases in each group, according to different treatment methods. The control group received conventional treatment, while the observation group received emergency point-of-care hemoperfusion treatment on the basis of conventional treatment.Compare the blood gas indicators, organ damage indicators, and inflammation indicators before and after treatment,as well as the recovery time of related indicators and cure status between two groups. Results After treatment, the blood gas indicators of both groups improved compared to before treatment, and the arterial partial pressure of oxygen, oxygen saturation, and potential of hydrogen in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05).The partial pressure of carbon dioxide of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, the indicators of organ damage and inflammation in both groups improved compared to before treatment, and the levels of aspartate aminotransferase, cardiac troponin I,serum amylase,interleukin-6,tumor necrosis factor-α,and hypersensitive C-reactive protein in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment(all P<0.05).The recovery time of cholinesterase activity, mechanical ventilation, wakefulness,ICU stay, and hospitalization in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The cure rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Emergency point-of-care hemoperfusion therapy for patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning can further improve their blood gas indicators, reduce organ damage and inflammatory reactions, promote patient recovery, and improve treatment effectiveness on the basis of routine treatment.
