Abstract:Objective To analyze and explore the application effect of risk management in emergency nursing process based on the healthcarel failure mode and effects analysis(HFMEA)model in patients with multiple trauma. Methods A total of 58 patients with multiple trauma who underwent treatment in the Ninth People's Hospital of Wuxi from January to June 2023 were included as the control group, and routine emergency nursing procedures were implemented for them.Fifty-three patients with multiple traumas who underwent treatment in our hospital from July to December 2023 were selected as the observation group. On the basis of the control group, emergency nursing process risk management based on HFMEA model was applied to them. The basic vital signs, emergency response, and incidence of adverse events between two groups were compared. Results The respiratory rate, heart rate, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had shorter response time, emergency examination time,pre-hospital emergency time, and stay time of intense care unit compared to the control group, while the success rate of emergency treatment was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For emergency multiple trauma patients, the application of HFMEA based emergency nursing process risk management can effectively stabilize patients'vital signs, shorten rescue time, and reduce the incidence of adverse events.
