The Postoperative Effect of Ultrasound-Guided Transverse Abdominal Muscle Plane Block Surgery in Cesarean Section for Scar Uterus

Abstract：Objective To explore the postoperative effect of ultrasound-guided transverse abdominal muscle plane block surgery in cesarean section for scarred uterus.Methods One hundred puerperaewith scarred uterus admitted to Baise Maternal and Child Health Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 50 cases in each group,by random number table method.The control group received patient-controlled intravenous analgesia intervention with butorphanol,while the observation group received ultrasound-guided transverse abdominal muscle plane block surgery.The postoperative pain levels,inflammatory factors,and pain factor levels between two groups of patients were compared.Results The postoperative visual analogue scale scores of the observation group patients were lower than those of the control group at 1 hour,4 hours,8 hours,12 hours,and 24 hours after surgery(P<0.05).The postoperative serum levels of procalcitonin,interleukin-6,and interleukin-18 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative serum levels of cyclooxygenase-2,bradykinin,and prostaglandin E2 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound guided transverse abdominal muscle plane block surgery used for cesarean section of scar uterus,could reduce the pain level of postpartum women at multiple time points after surgery and reduce the levels of inflammatory and pain factors.
