The Effect of Case Management Mode Combined with Emotional Comfort Strategy on the Urinary Function,Psychological Resilience and Surgical Complications in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy

Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of case management model combined with emotional comfort strategies on urinary function,psychological resilience,and surgical complications in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.Methods Eighty patients who underwent laparoscopic radical prostatectomy at the Sixth People's Hospital of Huizhou from September 2018 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 40 patients in each group.The control group received routine nursing care during the perioperative period,while the observation group received case management model combined with emotional comfort strategy nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.The improvements of urinary function,psychological resilience and incidence of complications between two groups of patients were compared.Results The effective rate of urine control in the observation group was 90.00%,which was higher than the 70.00%of the control group(P<0.05).The Connor-Davidson resilience scale scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 7.50%,which was lower than the 25.00%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of case management mode combined with emotional comfort strategy has a good intervention effect on patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy,which can enhance their urinary function,improve their psychological state,and reduce surgical complications.
