Application of Umbilical Therapy Combined with Warm Acupuncture in Patients with Primary Dysmenorrhea of Cold Coagulation and Blood Stasis Type

Abstract：Objective To study the application value of umbilical therapy combined with warm acupuncture in patients with primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type.Methods From June 2022 to February 2024,86 patients with primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type were included in the study,and were divided into groups according to the random number table method.The control group(43 cases)was given routine intervention,while the study group(43 cases)was given navel therapy combined with warm acupuncture on the basis of routine intervention.The pain degree,dysmenorrhea symptoms and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Results The pain scores of the study group after 1 menstrual cycle,2 menstrual cycles and 3 menstrual cycles were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the scores of dysmenorrhea symptoms in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the serum levels of high sensitivity C-reactive protein,interleukin-8 and tumor necrosis factor-α in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion It can effectively relieve the symptoms of dysmenorrhea,reduce the degree of pain and inhibit inflammatory reaction by giving umbilical therapy combined with warm acupuncture to patients with primary dysmenorrhea of cold blood stasis type.
