The Application Effect of the Integrated Medical and Nursing Handover Mode from the Perspective of Standard Communication in the Work of Emergency Observation Rooms

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of the integrated medical and nursing handover mode from the perspective of standard communication(SBAR)in the work of emergency observation rooms.Methods Two hundred emergency patients admitted to Zunyi Medical University Affiliated Hospital from January 2023 to February 2024 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 100 patients in each group.The control group adopted conventional shift handover method in the emergency observation room,while the observation group adopted the SBAR integrated shift handover mode in the emergency observation room.The patient satisfaction,physician satisfaction,nurse satisfaction,and nursing quality scores between the two groups were compared.Results The satisfaction of patient,physicians,nurse and the scores of nursing quality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of the integrated handover mode from the perspective of SBAR in the work of emergency observation rooms is good,which can improve the satisfaction of patients,physicians,and nurses with nursing work,and enhance the level of nursing quality.
