Clinical Characteristics and Medication Efficacy Analysis of Peptic Ulcer Caused by Helicobacter Pylori Infection

Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and medication use of peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection,and provide effective basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment in primary hospitals.Methods Three hundred and twenty patients with peptic ulcers caused by helicobacter pylori infection admitted to the outpatient department of Linqiong Community Health Service Center in Qionglai from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.The clinical characteristics and medication regimen of peptic ulcers were analyzed.Results Among the 320 patients with peptic ulcers caused by helicobacter pylori infection,male patients were more common,accounting for 61.25%.The incidence rate among middle-aged and elderly people aged 40~69 was relatively high,at 64.06%.60%of patients had ulcers smaller than 1 cm.The ulcer sites were mostly located in the gastric antrum and pylorus,accounting for 31.88%.The first symptom was mainly periodic upper abdominal pain,accounting for 35%.Complications mainly included gastrointestinal bleeding,accounting for 29.38%.The quadruple therapy of magnesium aluminum carbonate chewable tablets,clarithromycin,omeprazole,and amoxicillin had the highest eradication rate of helicobacter pylori,reaching 93.26%.Conclusion Peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection are mainly in middle-aged and elderly males,with ulcer sites mostly located in the gastric antrum and pylorus.Clinical symptoms mainly include regular cyclic upper abdominal pain,and common complications include upper gastrointestinal bleeding.The quadruple therapy of aluminum carbonate magnesium chewable tablets,clarithromycin,omeprazole,and amoxicillin has the highest eradication rate of helicobacter pylori.
