Application of Nutritional Health Education based on Nutritional Risk Assessment in Patients of Cirrhosis

Abstract：Objective To explore the application of nutritional health education based on nutritional risk assessment in the nursing of patients with cirrhosis.Method A total of 136 patients with cirrhosis admitted to Liaocheng People's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were randomly divided into routine group and observation group by random number table method,with 68 patients in each group.The control group received routine nutrition health education,while the observation group received nutrition health education based on nutritional risk assessment.The health cognition level,nutritional status and quality of life were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results After intervention,the observation group had higher scores of health cognition,nutritional status,and quality of life than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of health education intervention based on nutritional risk assessment in patients with cirrhosis could significantly improves their health awareness,nutritional status,and quality of life.
