Analysis of the Effect of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention Model in Elderly Hypertensive Outpatients

Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of comprehensive nursing intervention model in elderly hypertensive outpatients.Methods In this study,a total of 98 elderly hypertensive patients received in the outpatient clinic of the Chengdong District of Quanzhou First Hospital from October 2019 to October 2023 were selected as the study object,and were randomly divided into the routine group and the comprehensive group,with 49 cases in each group.The routine group used the outpatient routine nursing mode,and the comprehensive group used the comprehensive nursing mode.The nursing effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results Before the intervention,the disease knowledge awareness,treatment compliance,quality of life scores(the mos 36-items short-form health survey,SF-36),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),and self-management behavior rating scale(HPSMBRS)showed no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,both groups improved significantly in disease knowledge awareness,treatment compliance,SF-36,SBP,DBP and HPSMBRS(P<0.05),and above indexes in the comprehensive group were significantly better than those of the routine group after intervention(P<0.05).Patient care satisfaction in the comprehensive group was significantly higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive nursing model for elderly hypertensive outpatients can improve their disease knowledge awareness,self-management ability and treatment compliance,and achieve the purpose of effective control of blood pressure;at the same time,the quality of life and satisfaction of patients is improved,which is worthy of promotion.
