The Application Effect of Health Education Combined with Pain Intervention in Patients with Urinary Tract Stones Treated with Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of health education combined with pain intervention in patients with urinary tract stones undergoing extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy treatment.Methods A total of 152 patients with urinary tract stones treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy at Wenshang County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 15th,2022 to November 15th,2023 were selected as the observation subjects.All patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method,with 76 cases in each group.The control group received routine care,while the observation group received health education combined with pain care intervention on the basis of routine care.Compare the urinary function,sleep quality,and psychological status of two groups before and after nursing,as well as the pain levels at 4 and 48 hours after treatment.Results After nursing,the urinary function,sleep quality,and psychological state scores of both groups improved compared to before nursing,and the above indicators in the observation group after nursing were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in pain severity scores between the two groups at 4 hours after treatment(P>0.05).After 48 hours of treatment,the pain level scores of both groups decreased compared to 4 hours after treatment,and the pain level score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 48 hours after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with urinary tract stones undergoing extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy treatment,health education combined with pain intervention nursing on the basis of routine nursing can further improve the patient's urinary function,pain level,sleep quality,and psychological state.It is worth promoting and using.
