Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of perioperative refined nursing care in elderly patients with prostatic hyperplasia. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with prostatic hyperplasia admitted to the 73rd Group Military Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from January to December,2023 were selected as the study subjects.Forty patients admitted from January to June 2023 were the control group, and perioperative routine care was implemented;40 patients admitted from July to December 2023 were the refinement group, and perioperative refinement care was implemented. The perioperative indicators, postoperative complications, and prostate symptom scores at admission and discharge were compared between the two groups. Results The bladder irrigation time, urinary catheter removal time, and hospitalization time of the refinement group were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence rate of postoperative complications in the refinement group was 7.50%,which was significantly lower than 25.00%of the control group(P<0.05).At the time of admission, the prostate symptom scores of the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05).At the time of discharge, the prostate symptom score of the refinement group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Perioperative refined nursing care applied in the care of elderly patients with prostatic hyperplasia can achieve more ideal nursing effect, improve prostate symptoms and reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications.
