Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of remote ischemic preconditioning in percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)treatment of unstable angina patients. Methods Four hundred patients with unstable angina who underwent PCI treatment in our hospital between January 2023 and January 2024 were randomly divided into a control group(n=200)and an observation group(n=200).The control group received routine PCI treatment, while the observation group received remote ischemic preconditioning 24 hours before PCI surgery. The PCI treatment status, vascular endothelial factor, cardiac function, and cardiorenal injury between two groups of patients were compared. Results During the operation, the dosage of contrast agent, incidence of chest pain, and heart rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. After surgery, the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor and nitric oxide in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the level of endothelin-1 was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After surgery, the maximum oxygen uptake, wall motion score index, and left ventricular ejection fraction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After surgery, the levels of cardiac troponin I,creatine kinase-MB,and serum creatinine in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with unstable angina, remote ischemic preconditioning followed by PCI can reduce vascular damage, promote cardiac function recovery, and effectively protect the heart and kidneys.
