Clinical Study on Combination of Bacillus Subtilis Dual Live Bacteria Enteric Coated Capsules and Kangfuxin Solution in the Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract：Objective To analyze the clinical effect of bacillus subtilis dual live bacteria enteric coated capsules combined with kangfuxin liquid in the treatment of ulcerative colitis.Methods One hundred and six patients with ulcerative colitis admitted to Dapeng New Area Kuiyong People's Hospital of Shenzhen from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected,and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 53 cases in each group.The reference group was treated with bacillus subtilis double live bacteria enteric coated capsules,while the experimental group was treated with bacillus subtilis double live bacteria enteric coated capsules combined with kangfuxin liquid.The levels of serum inflammation,gut microbiota indicators and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6,C-reactive protein,interleukin-23,interleukin-17,and interleukin-8 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of Escherichia coli in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,while the levels of anaerobic lactobacilli and Bacteroidetes were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had lower scores of pus and blood,severe diarrhea,diarrhea,and abdominal pain than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Bacillus subtilis dual active bacteria enteric coated capsules and rehabilitation solution can improve the inflammatory response of ulcerative colitis,regulate intestinal flora and alleviate clinical symptoms.
