Effect of Comprehensive Nursing in Hemoptysis Patients Treated with Bronchial Artery Embolization

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing in patients with hemoptysis undergoing bronchial artery embolization(BAE)in the intervention room.Methods A total of 88 patients with hemoptysis who underwent BAE in the intervention room of Tianjin Haihe Hospital from August 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the research subjects.All patients were randomly divided into a conventional group and a comprehensive group by random number table method,with 44 patients in each group.The conventional group received conventional nursing,while the comprehensive group received comprehensive nursing.The nursing quality,nursing satisfaction,incidence of complications,and length of hospital stay,as well as the psychological status and quality of life before and after nursing were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the psychological status and quality of life scores of both groups were improved compared to before nursing,and the psychological status and quality of life scores of comprehensive group after nursing were significantly better than those of the conventional group(P<0.05).The nursing quality and nursing satisfaction scores of the comprehensive group were significantly higher than those of the conventional group(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the comprehensive group was significantly lower than that in the conventional group,and the hospitalization time was significantly shorter than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion For hemoptysis patients undergoing BAE in the intervention room,comprehensive nursing can improve nursing quality,alleviate negative emotions,enhance quality of life and nursing satisfaction,reduce the occurrence of complications,promote patient recovery,and is worth promoting.
