Application Effect of Refined Nursing Model with Psychological Care as the Core in Primiparous Women Undergoing Vaginal Trial Delivery

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of a refined nursing model with psychological care as the core in primiparous women undergoing vaginal trial delivery.Methods A total of 80 primiparous women who were hospitalized at Yong'an Municipal Hospital from February 2022 to February 2024 and underwent vaginal trials were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and a psychological group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing care,while the psychological group received a refined nursing model with psychological nursing as the core.Compare the negative emotions,delivery attitudes,overall labor process,delivery mode,newborn Apgar score,and nursing satisfaction of two groups before and after nursing.Results After nursing,both groups showed improvement in negative emotional scores compared to before nursing.The psychological group had a lower delivery attitude score than before nursing,while the control group had a higher delivery attitude score than before nursing.After nursing,the psychological group had significantly better negative emotional and delivery attitude scores than the control group(P<0.05).The total labor process of the psychological group was significantly shorter than that of the control group,the cesarean section rate was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the nursing satisfaction was significantly higher than that of the control group(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in newborn Apgar scores between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Adopting a refined nursing model with psychological care as the core for primiparous women undergoing vaginal trial delivery can further alleviate their fear and negative emotions towards childbirth,reduce the cesarean section rate,shorten the delivery process,and have high nursing satisfaction,which is worth promoting.
