Effect of Knowledge-attitude-practice Nursing in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of knowledge-attitude-practice nursing in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 98 T2DM patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to October 2023 were selected as research subjects and randomly divided into the knowledge-attitude-practice group and the control group,with 49 cases in each group.The knowledge-attitude-practice group received the knowledge-attitude-practice nursing,and the control group received conventional nursing.Compare the self-management behaviors after nursing,as well as blood glucose levels and knowledge-attitude-practice levels before and after nursing between the two groups.Results After nursing,the scores of self-management behaviors in all dimensions in the knowledge-attitude-practice group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The blood glucose levels and the scores of knowledge-attitude-practice levels in the two groups after nursing were significantly better than before nursing,and the blood glucose levels and the scores of knowledge-attitude-practice levels in the knowledge-attitude-practice group after nursing were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Knowledge-attitude-practice nursing for patients with T2DM can further reduce the blood glucose level,improve the patients'knowledge-attitude-practice levels and self-management behaviors ability,which is worth popularizing.
