Improvement Effect of Rapid Rehabilitation Surgery Concept Nursing Combined with Ear Acupoint Bean-pressing on Postoperative Constipation in Elderly Patients with Pelvic Fractures

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of implementing the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery nursing combined with ear acupoint bean-pressing on postoperative constipation in elderly patients undergoing pelvic fracture surgery.Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with pelvic fractures who underwent surgical treatment at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University from August 2022 to August 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 40 patients in each group.The observation group was treated with the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery nursing combined with ear acupoint bean-pressing intervention,while the control group was treated with routine nursing.Compare the constipation status at different time points after surgery,as well as the hip joint function,nursing satisfaction,and incidence of complications at discharge between two groups.Results There was no statistically significant difference in constipation status scores between the two groups at 1 day after surgery(P>0.05).The constipation status scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group at 3 days and 6 days after surgery(P<0.05).At discharge,the hip joint function score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the overall nursing satisfaction was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the total incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion For the elderly patients with pelvic fracture undergoing surgical treatment,the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery nursing combined with ear acupoint bean-pressing intervention can further improve the constipation of patients,improve nursing satisfaction,reduce complications,and improve hip joint function,which is worth promoting.
