Abstract:Objective Compare and analyze the efficacy of laparoscopic cholecystectomy and traditional open cholecystectomy in the treatment of gallstones. Methods Sixty patients with gallstones admitted to Tianjin Huaxing Hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into a laparoscopic group of 39 cases treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy and an open group of 21 cases treated with traditional open cholecystectomy.Compare surgical indicators, incidence of postoperative complications,as well as preoperative and postoperative 24 hours pain and stress response between two groups. Results The laparoscopic group had a significantly shorter surgical time, less intraoperative bleeding, earlier ambulation time, and shorter hospital stay than the open group(P<0.05).At 24 hours after surgery, both groups showed improvement in pain visual analogue scoring,as well as in levels of endothelin, serum superoxide dismutase, and cortisol compared to preoperative levels. Moreover, all of these indicators in the laparoscopic group were significantly superior to those in the open group at 24 hours after surgery(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the laparoscopic group was significantly lower than that in the open group(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic cholecystectomy has many advantages over traditional open surgery in the treatment of gallstones,as it can reduce the body's stress response, pain, and the occurrence of postoperative complications. It is worth promoting.
