Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of modified Bazhen decoction in adjuvant treatment of breast cancer patients undergoing postoperative chemotherapy and its influence on myelosuppression. Methods A total of 118 postoperative patients with breast cancer who received chemotherapy in Jian'ou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from February 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into the Western medicine group and the Chinese and Western medicine group with 59 cases in each group. The Western medicine group used a combination chemotherapy regimen of epirubicin hydrochloride and cyclophosphamide, while the Chinese and Western medicine group treated with modified Bazhen decoction on the basis of the Western medicine group's chemotherapy regimen.Compare the efficacy of two groups,as well as the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score, blood routine, and liver function indicators before and after chemotherapy. Results The total clinical effective rate of the Chinese and Western medicine group was 96.61%,which was significantly higher than the Western medicine group's 84.75%(P<0.05).After chemotherapy, the TCM syndrome scores of both groups were lower than before chemotherapy, and the TCM syndrome scores of the Chinese and Western medicine groups were significantly lower than those of the Western medicine group after chemotherapy(P<0.05).After chemotherapy, the liver function indicators of both groups were higher than before chemotherapy, and the liver function indicators of the Chinese and Western medicine group were significantly lower than those of the Western medicine group after chemotherapy(P<0.05).After chemotherapy, the white blood cell count, neutrophil count, and hemoglobin levels were higher in the Chinese and Western medicine groups than before chemotherapy, and lower in the Western medicine group than before chemotherapy, and the levels of these above indicators in the Chinese and Western medicine groups were significantly higher than those in the Western medicine group(P<0.05).After chemotherapy, the platelet count in both groups was lower than before chemotherapy, and the platelet count in the Chinese and Western medicine group was lower than that in the Western medicine group after chemotherapy, but there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion Modified Bazhen Decoction has an ideal effect in adjuvant treatment of postoperative chemotherapy patients with breast cancer, which can further improve the symptoms of patients, prevent myelosuppression, and has good safety, which is worth promoting.
