Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine directed penetration in the treatment of patients with qi-yin deficiency Stage Ⅲ diabetic nephropathy. Methods From June 2018 to June 2023,80 patients with qi-yin deficiency Stage Ⅲ diabetic nephropathy admitted to the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment, while the observation group received targeted traditional Chinese medicine treatment addtionally. The improvement of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, renal function, blood glucose, inflammation indicators, and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups of patients were compared. Results After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of dry throat and mouth, dizziness and frequent dreams, limb numbness, shortness of breath and lazy speech, fatigue and urinary turbidity in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group showed lower urea nitrogen,β2-microglobulin,serum creatinine,24-hour urinary protein, urinary albumin excretion rate, glycated hemoglobin,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, fasting blood glucose, glycated serum protein, serum transforming factor β1,tumor necrosis factor-α,and interleukin-17,and higher fasting C-peptide compared to the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted drug penetration of traditional Chinese medicine is effective in the treatment of qi-yin deficiency Stage Ⅲ diabetic nephropathy, which could improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, regulate renal function, blood sugar and inflammatory reaction, and has good safety.
