Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of 4R based follow-up management in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty. Methods One hundred and twenty-eight patients who underwent total knee replacement surgery at Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Xiamen University from March 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and a study group, with 64 patients in each group,by random number table method. The control group received routine follow-up intervention, while the study group received follow-up management based on the 4R model. The knee joint function, self perceived burden, and self-care ability between two groups of patients were compared. Results The scores of the hospital for special surgery,Lysholm score, knee joint range of motion, and self-care ability agency in the research group were all higher than those in the control group, while the scores of the self-perceived burden scale were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The follow-up management based on the 4R model in total knee replacement surgery can effectively promote improvement in knee joint function, reduce self perceived burden, and enhance self-care ability.
