Effects of Chinese Medicine Dieting Based on Syndrome Differentiation and Acupoint Sticking on Biochemical Indicator,Quality of Life and Satisfaction Level of Patients with Decompensated Cirrhosis

Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of Chinese medicine dieting based on syndrome differentiation and acupoint sticking on biochemical indicators,quality of life,and satisfaction in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis.Methods One hundred and twenty patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis who received treatment at Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March to December 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 60 patients in each group.The control group received routine intervention,while the study group received Chinese medicine dieting based on syndrome differentiation and acupoint sticking on the basis of routine intervention.The biochemical indicators,quality of life,and satisfaction of two groups of patients before and after intervention were compared.Results The scores of albumin,prealbumin,and quality of life comprehensive assessment questionnaire in the research group were higher than those in the control group,while the levels of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of the research group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicine dieting based on syndrome differentiation and acupoint sticking could effectively improve the nutritional status,quality of life,and nursing satisfaction of patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis.
