The Effect of Feilike Mixture Combined with Acetylcysteine Solution Nebulized Inhalation in the Treatment of Patients with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Feilike mixture combined with acetylcysteine solution nebulized inhalation in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods Eigty-six AECOPD patients admitted to Sanli Town Central Health Center of Shanglin County from September 2020 to September 2022 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with acetylcysteine nebulization,while the observation group was treated with Feili cough mixture additionally.The lung ventilation function,inflammatory factors,and recovery of two groups of patients after treatment were compared.Results After treatment,the first second forced expiratory volume,peak expiratory flow rate,peak volume ratio,and peak time ratio of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The C-reactive protein,procalcitonin,and tumor necrosis factor-α of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The 6-minute walk test distance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the scores of modified British Medical Research Council dyspnea scale and body mass index-airflow obstruction-dyspnea-exercise capacity index were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Feili cough mixture and acetylcysteine solution nebulized inhalation could enhance lung ventilation function,reduce inflammatory factor levels and improve the quality of life.
