Abstract:Objective To explore the application of intermittent inflation pump combined with PDCA cycle intervention in preventing deep vein thrombosis(DVT)in the lower limbs of intensive care unit(ICU)patients. Methods A total of 132 ICU patients admitted to Kunshan First People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected and divided into routine group and observation group(66 cases in each group)by random number table method. The conventional group was given routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was given intermittent inflatable pressure pump combined with PDCA evidence-based nursing intervention. The incidence of DVT,DVT cognition and femoral vein blood flow velocity before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the incidence of DVT in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The DVT cognitive score and femoral vein blood flow velocity in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the prevention of DVT in ICU patients, the use of intermittent pneumatic pumps combined with PDCA evidence-based intervention can significantly reduce the incidence of DVT in patients, improve DVT awareness, and improve femoral venous blood flow.
