The Application of Emotional ABC Theory in Health Education on Patients Accepted Digestive Endoscopy

Abstract：Objective To explore the application of emotional ABC theory in health education in patients with digestive endoscopy.Methods A total of 184 patients who underwent digestive endoscopy in Fudan University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 92 cases in each group.The control group was given routine health education intervention,while the observation group was given ABC theory of emotion health education intervention.The comfort,nursing satisfaction,psychological stress of the two groups were compared 5 min before and after the examination.Results The observation group had better comfort and nursing satisfaction than the control group(P<0.05).5 minutes after the examination,the stress score and stress index levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In patients undergoing digestive endoscopy,the application of emotional ABC theory in health education can significantly improve comfort and nursing satisfaction,as well as alleviate psychological stress.
