Effect of Psychological Intervention on Patients Treated with Blood Purification

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of psychological intervention in patients undergoing blood purification treatment.Methods A total of 100 patients underwent blood purification treatment admitted to Wuxi People's Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 50 cases in each group,using a random number table method.The control group received routine nursing care,while the observation group received psychological intervention in combination with the control group's nursing plan.Compare the anxiety and depression levels before and after nursing between two groups,as well as the quality of life,incidence of complications,and nursing satisfaction after nursing.Results After nursing,the anxiety and depression levels in both groups improved compared to before nursing,and the self-rating scale scores of anxiety and depression in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The SF-36 quality of life scale scores in all dimensions of the observation group after nursing were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and nursing satisfaction was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The psychological intervention combined with routine nursing care for patients undergoing blood purification treatment can further improve their psychological condition and quality of life,increase nursing satisfaction,and reduce the incidence of complications.It is worth promoting and using.
