Effect of Humanistic Fine Nursing in CT Examination of Elderly Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients with Lower Extremity Atherosclerotic Occlusion

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of humanistic fine nursing in the elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with lower extremity atherosclerotic occlusion undergoing CT examination.Methods A total of 86 elderly type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with lower extremity atherosclerotic occlusion who underwent CT angiography in Quanzhou First Hospital,Fujian Province from June 2018 to November 2023 were selected.Thirty-seven patients who received routine care from June 2018 to March 2020 were included in the control group,and 49 patients who received humanistic intensive care from June 2020 to November 2023 were included in the observation group.Compare the psychological stress response,one-time examination success rate,image quality,and satisfaction of two groups before CT examination.Results The blood pressure,heart rate,and respiratory rate of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group immediately before the examination(P<0.05).The success rate of one-time examination in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in image quality between the two groups(P>0.05).The satisfaction level of the observation group in waiting time for examination,nurse patient communication,safety,care and concern was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Humanistic intensive care can effectively improve their stress response,increase the success rate of one-time examination,and improve their satisfaction for elderly type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with lower extremity atherosclerotic occlusion undergoing CT angiography.
