Abstract:Objective To compare the efficacy of ruiyun procedure for hemorrhoids and traditional hemorrhoids surgery in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods A total of 120 mixed hemorrhoid patients admitted to the Meilin Street Community Health Service Center in Nan'an City from January 2021 to December 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group underwent traditional hemorrhoid surgery, while the observation group underwent ruiyun procedure for hemorrhoids.Compare perioperative indicators, preoperative and postoperative pain, anal hemodynamics, and incidence of postoperative complications between two groups. Results The observation group had significantly better perioperative indicators, lower postoperative pain scores at various time points, lower end diastolic and peak systolic blood flow velocity of the anal canal at 3 months after surgery, and lower total incidence of postoperative complications than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of ruiyun procedure for hemorrhoids in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids is superior to traditional hemorrhoid surgery, with advantages such as less trauma, fewer complications, and faster patient recovery. It is worth using in qualified medical institutions.
