Observation on the Clinical Effect of Guizhi Fuling Combined with Shaoyao Gancao Decoction in the Treatment of Early and Middle Stage Necrosis of Femoral Head

Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of Guizhi Fuling combined with Shaoyao Gancao decoction in patients with early to middle stage osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH),thus providing more basis and data support for the popularization of the application of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in patients with early to middle stage ONFH.Methods In this study,a total of 128 patients with early to middle stage ONFH admitted to Yueyang Hospital of Integrative Medicine affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected and divided into 64 cases in the control group and 64 cases in the study group according to the different medication regimens.The control group were treated with Xianling Gubao capsules,while the study group were treated with Guizhi Fuling combined with Shaoyao Gancao decoction.The clinical data of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.31%,which was significantly higher than 67.19%in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,the pain score,psychological condition and Harris score showed no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the pain score,psychological condition and Harris score of the study group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of Guizhi Fuling combined with Shaoyao Gancao decoction for the treatment of patients with early and middle stage ONFH is clear,and it can be popularized and applied.
