Application Effect of Risk Nursing Model in the Prevention of Falls in Senile Patients

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of risk nursing model in the prevention of falls in senile patients.Methods A total of 86 senile patients in Shangdong Third Veterans Hospital from December 2022 to February 2024 were selected as the research subjects,and were randomly divided into 43 cases each in the control group and the risk nursing group.The control group adopted conventional nursing care,and the risk nursing group adopted the risk nursing model.The effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results Before intervention,there was no significant differences in fall cognition,Morse and SF-36 scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,the fall cognition,Morse and SF-36 scores of patients in both groups were significantly improved,and the fall cognition,Morse and SF-36 scores of patients in the risk nursing group after intervention were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of nursing satisfaction in risk nursing group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of fall between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of risk nursing in senile patients can significantly improve their awareness of fall prevention,and improve the quality of life and satisfaction of patients,which is worthing of promotion.
