Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of a zero defect intervention model based on prospective theory in emergency treatment of patients with severe traumatic brain injury caused by trauma. Methods Fifty patients with severe traumatic brain injury who received treatment in Quanzhou Guangqian Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were collected and divided into a control group and a study group, with 25 cases in each group. The control group received routine emergency intervention, while the study group received zero defect intervention based on prospective theory on the basis of the control group. The first aid effect, degree of coma, neurological function, degree of brain dysfunction, and satisfaction between two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the results showed that the success rate of emergency treatment, satisfaction scores, and overall score of the research group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The emergency room treatment, auxiliary examination waiting,multi-disciplinary consultation waiting, and injury to surgery time were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The score of Glasgow coma scale in the study group was higher than that in the control group, while the scores of national institutes of Health Stroke scale and disability rating scale were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of a zero defect intervention model based on prospective theory in emergency treatment of patients with severe traumatic brain injury can effectively improve the effectiveness of emergency treatment, reduce the degree of coma, promote improvement in neurological function, and enhance satisfaction.
