The Effect of Family Follow-up Combined with Positive Psychological Intervention on Diabetes Patients during Pregnancy and the Improvement of Anxiety and Depression

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of family follow-up intervention combined with positive psychological intervention on patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 200 patients with GDM who were admitted to the No.73 Group Army Hospital of the People's Liberation Army of China from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group with 100 cases each.The control group carried out routine nursing,and the observation group carried out family follow-up intervention combined with positive psychological intervention.Compare the blood glucose levels,anxiety and depression before and after 30 days of intervention between two groups,as well as the nursing satisfaction after 30 days of intervention.Results The overall nursing satisfaction of the observation group after 30 days of intervention was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 30 days of intervention,the blood glucose levels and scores on the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)in both groups were lower than before intervention,and after 30 days of intervention,the blood glucose levels and scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion Family follow-up combined with positive psychological intervention for patients with GDM can not only effectively reduce their blood sugar level,but also improve their psychological status,which is worth promoting.
