Abstract:Objective To explore the effect and satisfaction of soft silicone foam dressing combined with mucopolysaccharide polysulfonate cream in preventing azacytidine injection reaction. Methods A total of 60 patients with myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia who received azacytidine injection treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University were selected as the research objects from June 2022 to December 2023.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group with 30 patients each.Three days after azacytidine injection, the control group applied soft silicone foam dressing, and the observation group applied mucopolysaccharide polysulfonate cream first and then soft silicone foam dressing.Compare the incidence of injection site pain, bruising, adverse reactions, and satisfaction between two groups before and after the intervention. Results After intervention, the incidence of pain and bruising at the injection site in both groups was significantly better than before intervention, and the number of adverse reactions was significantly less than before intervention. In addition, the degree of pain and bruising at the injection site in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group after intervention, and the incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Soft silicone foam dressing combined with mucopolysaccharide polysulfonate cream has a better effect in preventing azacytidine injection reaction, and patients have a high degree of satisfaction, which is worth promoting.
