Application of 5A Nursing Model in External Guidance of Blood Glucose Management for Perinatal Pregnant Women

Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of 5A nursing mode on blood sugar,psychological resilience and self-care ability in the process of out of hospital guidance of glucose management for pregnant women with gestational diabetes(GDM).Methods One hundred pregnant women with GDM who were treated at Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Gulang County from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an intervention group,with 50 cases in each group.Routine out of hospital management and out of hospital management based on the 5A nursing model were conducted,and the effects of different intervention models on pregnant women's blood sugar,psychological resilience,and self-care ability were compared.Results After intervention,there was a statistically significant difference in fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c levels,as well as various items and total scores of Connor-Davidson resilience scale and exercise of self-care agency scale between the two groups of pregnant women(P<0.05).Conclusion Applying the 5A nursing model to the outpatient management process of GDM pregnant women can improve blood sugar control effectiveness,as well as improve psychological resilience and self-care ability.
