Application of Narrative Medicine Guided Psychological Intervention Combined with Respiratory Specialized Training in Patients Undergoing Thoracoscopic Surgery for Lung Cancer

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of narrative medicine guided psychological intervention combined with respiratory specialized training in patients undergoing thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer.Methods Seventy-eight patients who underwent thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer at Zoucheng People's Hospital from May 2021 to August 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 39 patients in each group.The control group received routine intervention,while the research group of 39 cases received psychological intervention based on narrative medicine guidance combined with respiratory specialized training on the basis of the control group.The perioperative related indicators,emotional state,self-efficacy,and lung function between two groups were copared.Results The postoperative first meal intake time,first time getting out of bed,drainage tube removal time,and hospitalization time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of the positive negative emotion scale and the Chinese version of the cancer self-management efficacy scale in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The lung capacity,forced expiratory volume in the first second,and maximum ventilation of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Based on narrative medicine guidance,psychological intervention combined with respiratory specialized training can effectively shorten the recovery time of lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic surgery,improve emotional state and self-efficacy,and enhance lung function.
