Abstract:Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatoid knee arthritis. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 102 suspected rheumatoid knee arthritis patients in Fuding City Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022.All patients underwent magnetic resonance imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound examination, with the final clinical diagnosis as gold standard. The diagnostic efficacy of two methods above were compared. Results There was no statistically significant difference in sensitivity, specificity, diagnostic accuracy, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value between the two examination methods for diagnosing rheumatoid knee arthritis(P>0.05).According to consistency analysis, compared with the final clinical diagnosis results, the Kappa values of magnetic resonance imaging for diagnosing joint effusion, synovial hyperplasia, bone erosion, and cartilage destruction were 0.822,0.881,0.869,and 0.933(P<0.05).The Kappa values for diagnosing joint effusion, synovial hyperplasia, bone erosion, and cartilage damage using musculoskeletal ultrasound were 0.924,0.833,0.788,and 0.781,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion Magnetic resonance imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound have high diagnostic value in rheumatoid arthritis, and both can be used for disease diagnosis and monitoring.
