The Application of Multidisciplinary Intervention Model in Patients Undergoing Esophageal Cancer Radical Surgery

Abstract:Objective To study the effect of multidisciplinary intervention model on the psychological state,hope level and quality of life of patients undergoing radical resection of esophageal cancer.Methods From July 2021 to June 2023,a total of 88 patients who underwent radical surgery for esophageal cancer in Zoucheng People's Hospital were randomly divided into control group and research group,with 44 cases in each group.The control group was given routine intervention,while the research group was given multidisciplinary intervention mode.The psychological state,hope level,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the scores of Hamilton anxiety scale and Hamilton depression scale in the research group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of Herth hope index and functional assessment of cancer therapy-general module in the research group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Multidisciplinary intervention model in patients undergoing radical resection of esophageal cancer can effectively promote patients'hope level and quality of life,and reduce psychological burden.
