The Impact of Individualized Nursing on the Psychological Status and Exclusive Breast-Feeding of Primiparas

Abstract:Objective To explore the impact of individualized nursing on the psychological status and exclusive breast-feeding in primiparas.Methods A total of 62 primiparas who underwent filing,regular antenatal examination,and hospital delivery at Baoji Hospital Affiliated to Xi'an Medical University from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a conventional group and an individualized group,with 31 cases in each group.The conventional group received routine care,while the individualized group received personalized care.The negative emotions,quality of life,willingness to breast-feeding at discharge,and nursing satisfaction before and after nursing were compared between the two groups,Compare the rates of exclusive breast-feeding between two groups at discharge,42 days postpartum,and 6 months postpartum.Results At discharge,both groups had better scores of negative emotions and quality of life than before nursing,and the scores of negative emotions and quality of life in the individualized group were significantly bettert than the conventional group(P<0.05).The willingness to breast-feeding and nursing satisfaction of the individualized group were significantly higher than those of the conventional group at discharge(P<0.05).The exclusive breast-feeding rate of the individualized group at discharge,42 days postpartum,and 6 months postpartum was significantly higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Individualized nursing for primiparas can improve their negative emotions,enhance their willingness to breast-feeding,increase the rate of exclusive breast-feeding,and improve their quality of life,which is worthy of clinical promotion and use.
