Analysis of the Effect of Overall Cooperation in the Operating Room in the Treatment of Intertrochanteric Fracture of the Femur in the Elderly with PFNA Internal Fixation

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of increasing the overall cooperation in the operating room during the routine perioperative care for elderly patients with intertrochanteric femur fractures treated with proximal femoral nail antirotation(PFNA).Methods Eighty-six cases of elderly patients with intertrochanteric femur fractures treated with PFNA internal fixation admitted to Liaocheng City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to November 2022 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into 43 cases each in the control group and the observation group by the double-blind method.The control group performed the routine perioperative nursing care,and the observation group strengthened the overall cooperation in the operating room on the basis of the control group.The clinical general indexes and nursing efficacy were compared between two groups.Results The operation time,the first postoperative ambulation,the hospitalization time and the fracture healing time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The intraoperative bleeding in the observation group was significantly less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative 7 d anxiety,pain,and knee joint healing time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Strengthening the overall cooperation in the operating room during the routine nursing work around PFNA internal fixation can help elderly patients with intertrochanteric femur fracture to shorten the time of surgical treatment and postoperative rehabilitation,as well as reduce anxiety,pain level and improve knee joint function.
