Effect of Pregnancy Weight Management Combined with PBL Health Education in Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of pregnancy body weight management combined with PBL health education in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 300 GDM patients admitted to the Obstetrics Department of Ningde Municipal Hospital of Ningde Normal University from January to December of 2022 were selected.All patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 150 cases in each group.The observation group received pregnancy body weight management combined with PBL health education,while the control group received routine nursing management.Compare the blood glucose control effect,compliance behavior,body mass increase,and maternal infant outcomes between two groups after intervention.Results After intervention,the compliance behavior of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the increase in blood glucose levels and body mass was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the neonatal outcome was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of pregnancy body weight management and PBL health education can improve the compliance behavior of GDM,which is more conducive to the control of blood glucose and body quality of patients,and can avoid adverse pregnancy outcomes.
