Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of adopting a rapid rehabilitation nursing model in patients with spinal fractures undergoing surgical treatment. Methods A total of 96 patients with spinal fractures who underwent surgical treatment at Southeast Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University(No.909 Hospital)from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients were divided into a rapid rehabilitation group of 61 cases and a conventional group of 35 cases according to different nursing plans. The rapid rehabilitation group received rapid rehabilitation nursing, while the conventional group received conventional nursing.Compare the preoperative and postoperative pain levels, quality of life before and after intervention, postoperative recovery, incidence of complications, and nursing satisfaction between two groups. Results The visual analogue scores of pain at 24 and 48 hours after surgery in both groups were significantly lower than those before surgery, and the rapid rehabilitation group was significantly lower than the conventional group(P<0.05).The postoperative recovery indicators of patients in the rapid rehabilitation group were significantly shorter in early ambulation and hospital stay than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention, the SF-36 quality of life scores of both groups were significantly higher than before intervention, and the rapid rehabilitation group was significantly higher than the conventional group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the rapid rehabilitation group was significantly lower than that in the conventional group, and nursing satisfaction was significantly higher than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with spinal fractures undergoing surgical treatment, adopting rapid rehabilitation nursing is more effective than conventional nursing, which can further reduce patient pain, promote postoperative recovery, and improve patient quality of life and nursing satisfaction. It is worth promoting and using.
