Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of electrocardiogram(ECG)combined with echocardiography(UCG)in the diagnosis of hypertensive heart disease. Methods A total of 92 patients with suspected hypertensive heart disease from January 2022 to December 2023 in Tianjin Baodi District People's Hospital were selected, and performed ECG and UCG,alone or in combination. The accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, misdiagnosis rate and missed diagnosis rate of ECG and UCG alone or in combination for hypertensive heart disease were compared. Results Among 92 cases of suspected hypertensive heart disease,79 cases were confirmed. The main manifestations of the patients were 64 cases of left ventricular hypertrophy,38 cases of left ventricular enlargement,33 cases of myocardial ischemia,28 cases of interventricular septal hypertrophy,21 cases of left atrial enlargement, and 7 cases of aortic dilation. There was no significant difference in the accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, misdiagnosis rate and missed diagnosis rate of ECG and UCG examination alone in the diagnosis of hypertensive heart disease(P>0.05).The accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of combined ECG and UCG for diagnosis of hypertensive heart disease were significantly higher than ECG or UCG alone(P<0.05),the rate of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis was significantly lower than that of single detection(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with ECG or UCG alone, the combined examination can significantly improve the diagnostic efficacy of hypertensive heart disease, and is worthy to be used for reference in clinical practice.
