The Effect of Tianwang Buxin Pill Combined with Wendan Decoction in the Treatment of Refractory Insomnia in Hemodialysis

Abstract：Objective To exploring the therapeutic effect of Tianwang Buxin Pill combined with Wendan Decoction on refractory insomnia patients undergoing hemodialysis.Methods A total of 82 patients with refractory insomnia on hemodialysis who received treatment at the Second People's Hospital of Ningxian County from January 2019 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.All patients were divided into a combination therapy group of 51 cases and a control group of 31 cases according to different treatment plans.The combination therapy group was treated with Tianwang Buxin Pill combined with Wendan Decoction,while the control group was treated with Tianwang Buxin Pill.Compare the treatment effects,incidence of adverse reactions during treatment,as well as sleep quality,negative emotions,and quality of life before and after treatment between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the combination therapy group was 86.27%,which was significantly higher than the control group's 61.29%(P<0.05).After treatment,the sleep quality,negative emotions,and quality of life scores of the two groups of patients were significantly better than before treatment,and the combination therapy group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Both groups of patients did not experience serious adverse reactions during the treatment period.Conclusion The combination of Tianwang Buxin Pill and Wendan Decoction is safe and effective in treating refractory insomnia patients undergoing hemodialysis.It can effectively improve the patient's sleep quality and negative emotions,enhance their quality of life,and is worthy of promotion and use.
