Therapeutic Effect of Cyclosporine Eye Drops Combined with Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops on Dry Eye Syndrome after Pterygium Surgery

Abstract：Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of cyclosporine eye drops combined with sodium hyaluronate eye drops on dry eye syndrome after pterygium surgery.Methods A total of 122 cases with dry eyes after pterygium surgery from January 2022 to January 2023,admitted to Sanhe Yanjiao 23 Hospital were randomly divided into single group and joint group with 61 cases in each group.The single group adopted sodium hyaluronate eye drops,while the joint group adopted cyclosporine eye drops on the basis of sodium hyaluronate eye drops.The tear film stability index,dry eye symptom score and ocular surface disease index score were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.The efficacy,adverse reactions,and recurrence rates of two groups were recorded.Results The total clinical effective rate of combined group was significantly higher than that of single group(P<0.05).After treatment,the tear film stability index,dry eye symptom score and ocular surface disease index score in the combined group were significantly improved,and the combined group was significantly superior to the single group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05),and the recurrence rate in the combined group was significantly lower than that in the single group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cyclosporin eye drops combined with sodium hyaluronate eye drops has significant efficacy,low recurrence rate and good safety in the treatment of dry eye after pterygium surgery.
